It will be softer, it will be better to the touch, and you will feel much more comfortable. Basically, that’s what this website is about. Getting you higher quality pillowcases, and getting the word out about them. A lot of people aren’t quite sure whether or not they should get a satin silk pillow case, however, I think if you are even just thinking about it, you should get it.

It’s a well known fact that satin pillowcases and silk pillowcases are both amazing for your skin and hair health. However, it’s often debated which is better – silk or satin pillowcases for hair?

Both satin pillowcases and silk pillowcases offer several benefits for your skin and hair health. Both of them, when the materials were rare, were reserved for royalty, kings and queens and other similar high status people. To put it simply, you had to not only have a lot of money, but you also had to have a lot of power if you were going to be sleeping on silk or satin pillowcases.
In every picture of every royalty member of the past, you will notice one thing: their hair is amazing, especially in comparison to other people around that timeline.

So, back on the topic of which is better, the truth is, they both offer similar benefits. I personally like to sleep on satin pillowcases as they are great for skin health in addition to hair health, however, my friend absolutely swears by silk pillowcases.

Bed bath and beyond has a great variety and assortment of satin pillowcases, however, there’s a few problems when buying from bbb.

First problem being that bed bath and beyond tends to overprice their products by a lot, because they’re taking out the middle man(sort of). Not only that, but they buy in massive bulk. This means that their products are often not taken care of very much, and given a lot less personal attention.
This leaves you with a lower quality product, as well as you’ll be getting a less personalized service.
I personally like to do most of my shopping at Amazon. They have the same products, in better condition, for a much lower price. I compared bbb and amazon.com’s prices, and the same product is less than half price at amazon, and it was a better quality as well.

It was clear that amazon’s pillowcases had been taken much better care of than the ones at bed bath and beyond. If someone were to ask me where they should buy a pillowcase, or any product for that matter, I would say amazon. It’s easy, you don’t have to leave your home, and it’s more affordable, and the service is much more friendly.

As someone who’s struggled with hair problems for a good part of my life, I can say that my satin pillowcase & hair health definitely go hand in hand.

I used to always have very greasy hair, and it was also thinning a bit as well. I was extremely self concious and very shy about it. After being a bit of a pillowcase tester for a while, I’ve come to the conclusion that there’s only one real silk pillowcase you should get.

Now, what makes silk pillowcases so great for your skin and hair?

Silk is made very delicately, especially when compared to cotton or even plain satin. This, in and of itself, is a huge part of the process.

I used to have tons of problems with my skin and hair, and nothing the doctors said or did helped me. Then, I was talking to a friend of mine and she suggested I get a silk pillowcase. I was very skeptical at first, but I decided to do it.
